Take a Risk

“Well, which way now?”

“To the left it's light. The trail is known; blue and nonthreatening.”

“And to the right?”

“A path of uncertainty; offering the risks and thrill of black diamonds with icy moguls. In the darkness we risk falling. We risk failing.”

Cold wind scrapes red cheeks. Ice crackles underfoot. Trees sigh, whispering in the wind.

Oh, our existence is fleeting.

Let us do more than exist.

Let us live.

“I choose uncertainty.”
